White Mountain Voices Choral Scholar Program
The White Mountain Voices Choral Scholar program is open to students in grades 9-12 from the North Country commmunity, including home-schooled students, private school students, and those attending Lisbon SAU 35, Littleton SAU 84, Northumberland SAU 84, Profile SAU 35, and White Mountains Regional SAU 36. This program is ideal for any student who is considering further study in music education or performance.Choral scholars will have the opportunity to participate in a community chorus while advancing their skill in choral performance including following the conductor, using good choral diction, executing complex rhythms, matching pitches, sight reading, and singing in a variety of languages. Depending on programming, there may be opportunities for small group or solo performance and/or developing basic choral conducting skills. Each Choral Scholar will also receive 4 private lessons with our Artistic Director, Victoria Cole.
2025-2026 Choral Scholars Cecilia Rancourt (soprano), Nora Woodson (alto), and Gus Rancourt (bass)

Cecilia Rancourt, a 13 year old homeschooler, lives in Lancaster with her large family. She enjoys dance, theater, clarinet, piano, and singing soprano with White Mountain Voices. Since the age of five she has danced annually in the Nutcracker at the Littleton Opera House, and she is currently rehearsing for the part of Princess Fiona in the musical Shrek Jr. In her spare time she likes to hang out at home with her cat Billy.

Gus Rancourt, a 15 year old homeschooler, is a native of Lancaster. He enjoys skiing, theater, drums, piano, and singing bass with White Mountain Voices. He is acting in the Spongebob Musical and will be playing Donkey in the musical Shrek Jr.
